Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are on, open the app, click the gear icon or go to 'Me' → 'System Settings' → 'Initial Use Settings', and follow instructions. If detection fails, restart Bluetooth and try again when prompted.

Purchase an ACDP Bluetooth Adaptor, install drivers from the Downloads page, then go to 'Settings' → 'Initial Use Settings' and follow the on-screen steps.

After binding your device, click 'Me' → 'Login' and follow the instructions. When prompted for a code, select ACDP code (unless you are a Chinese mainland user).

Peel back the green sticker on the module to reveal the QR code. Scan this in the app via 'Me' → 'Module List' → 'Add'. If the QR code won’t scan, clean it or enter the code manually.

Set the switch to 'NC' for all operations except extracting the ISN from the DME, where the device will prompt you to switch to 'CAN_R_Join'.

Use the provided contact cleaning probes to gently clean the board contacts. Retry connection—it may take more than one attempt.

This is a known issue on old CAS3/4 boards. If your board has a C_GND probe, remove it. If the issue persists, contact support@autowave.co.uk.

Connect Mini Key Tool via Bluetooth. Go to 'Transponder Clone' → 'Clone' → 'ID48 (96bit) online calculation'. Wait 5–10 seconds for a pop-up showing tokens/bonus points.

Generate 10 separate Xhorse remotes with onboard transponders, then go to 'Device Information' → 'Licence' → 'ID48 cloning function' → 'Activate'. May take up to 2 hours.

The Mini Key Tool only receives the daily ID48 token for one year. Tokens can be purchased individually or a new Mini Key Tool can be purchased for another year’s tokens.

Update VVDI2 software from the Downloads page, then update firmware in 'Upgrade Kit'. This resolves version mismatches.

Wired: No transponder, programmed with included wire (e.g., older Fords, ID48 VAG).
Wireless: Built-in transponder, generated via device coil (e.g., PSA, Vauxhall).
Super: Super chip built-in, replaces wired or wireless remotes.
Smart: For keyless/proximity systems; some require MQB Smart Remote with flip blade.
